“Vada Chennai will kickstart in May,” says Vetrimaaran

Director Vetrimaaran has confirmed that his long-pending project Vada Chennai will kickstart in May. Dhanush, who is currently on the brink of completing Kodi, will join the sets of Gautham Menon’s Yenai Nokki Paayum Thoatta from March. Dhanush and GVM are expected to complete the project in April.

“We will start Vada Chennai from May. The pre-production for the film has already started,” says Vetrimaaran. Dhanush also needs to start his Hollywood project with French filmmaker Marjane Satrapi from June.
