Vijay to sing a peppy love number for Kaththi

Ever since it was announced that Vijay will croon for a song composed by Anirudh in Kaththi, people have been playing guessing games on the song’s genre. Few days back, it was reported that he is singing a romantic number in the song like Kandhangi in Jilla where he teamed up with Shreya Goshal for the first time. Now, sources say Vijay will be singing a ‘love kuththu’ number on the lines of Why This Kolaveri.

“Vijay will walk into the recording studio in the coming days to record the song. Anirudh is currently working on the composed song before he make Vijay sing for it. For a change, this will be a `love kuthu’ song. It will be a blend of romance and kuthu,” says a bankable source. Meanwhile, Anirudh is composing an exclusive theme music for the digital motion poster of the film which will be unveiled for Vijay’s birthday on June 22nd.
