Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has been signed to play a crucial but brief role in Thalapathy 62. The makers announced the news yesterday on their official Twitter page to mark the occasion of her birthday.
Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions, Thalapathy 62 features Vijay and Keerthy Suresh as leads. AR Rahman composes music for the film, which also has Radharavi in a pivotal role with negative shades.
Varalaxmi is currently part of a bevy of films including Maari 2, Echarikkkai, Mr Chandramouli, Sandakozhi 2, Neeya 2 and Paamban.
