Mani Ratnam’s next to start rolling from July 8th

Mani Ratnam’s next yet-untitled project will start rolling from July 8th. There are also unconfirmed reports that the film has been titled Kaatru Veliyidai. 

Starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles, the film has music composed by AR Rahman. Billed as a romantic musical, the film will see Karthi essay the role of a pilot. Ravi Varma is expected to wield the camera. More details about the project are awaited.
