Kangana Ranaut to play titular role in Vijay’s Jayalalitha biopic Thalaivi

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been officially signed to play the titular role in director Vijay’s Jayalalitha biopic Thalaivi, which is planned to be made as a multi-lingual film.

The news has been officially announced on the occasion of her birthday today. Produced by Vibri Media, the film is co-written by Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad. 2.0 cinematographer Nirav Shah has been roped in to crank the camera and GV Prakash has come on board to score the music.
