Kangana Ranaut to kickstart shooting for Jayalalitha biopic Thalaivi from August

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut will kickstart for Jayalalitha biopic Thalaivi from early August. She has been taking part in workshops for the most anticipated biopic, which chronicles the life of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha. Buzz is that the project is touted to be made at a massive budget of Rs 100 crores.

Directed by Vijay and produced by Vibri Media, the film is being planned as a multi-lingual. Kangana has already started learning Tamil for the project. The film is co-written by Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad. 2.0 cinematographer Nirav Shah has been roped in to crank the camera and GV Prakash has come on board to score the music.
