Ajith joins Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay and Vikram in the US
Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal has grossed $0.5 MILLION in the US and become the 9th Tamil movie to cross the coveted box office mark. And this is Ajith’s first film at the box-office to do so. With this, Ajith has joined Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay and Vikram at the US box-office.
Endhiran, Sivaji, Lingaa, Kochaidaiyaan, Dasavatharam, Vishwaroopam, Kaththi and I are other films which have crossed the landmark. Meanwhile, there are rumors that the film has grossed 100 crores at the box office. Trade pundits suggest that the chances are bleak for Yennai Arindhaal to join the prestigious 100 crore club. Yet another miss for Ajith, likely! But being a non-festival release, trade is very happy with the BO outcome by the way.
