“December 04, 1992. It’s been 22 years now and I still remember that night, anxiously waiting for Nalaiaya Theerpu. I spent that night hoping and dreaming for people to accept me as a mainstream lead In Tamil Cinema. Looking back, I feel I have got more than what I had dreamt that night.
Being a person who doesn’t forget the past, I remember and cherish every single day of these 22 years I have spent in cinema. Cinema has given me everything in life. I would like to take this opportunity to convey my heartfelt thanks to people who have helped me in these past 22 years.
Firstly, I would like to thank all the producers who had trusted and invested in my films and me. If not for them, these 22 years wouldn’t have been possible.
