Six filmmakers to do a cameo in Dhanush’s Shamitabh

The first look posters of Dhanush’s upcoming Hindi film Shamitabh have already piqued the curiosity of moviegoers. Now, the latest buzz is that R.Balki has roped in six Hindi filmmakers to do a cameo in the film which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Akshara Haasan in important roles. Raju Hirani of 3 Idiots fame, Gauri Shinde of English Vinglish fame, Karan Johar of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai fame,Mahesh Bhatt of Murder fame, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra of Rang De Basanti fame andAnurag Basu of Barfi fame will be seen in the film. Also, writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar and producers Boney Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor will also do cameos.

Everyone will play themselves in the film. Dhanush essays the role of a deaf and mute and Amitabh Bachchan is the voice of Dhanush throughout the film. The film is inching towards completion and will release on February 6, 2015.
