“Simbu makes up for his tardiness with acting,” says Gautham Menon
That Simbu comes late to sets is an oft-heard complaint in the industry. Gautham Menon, who is collaborating with the actor for the second time in Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada, has acknowledged the same and added that Simbu makes up for his tardiness with acting.
“Simbu is just outstanding as an actor. I love working with him. I know people say he comes late. Yes, but then, we also don’t start on time. Sometimes, for a 9am shoot, he’ll come by 2pm but we’ll still be able to finish shoot by 6pm because he is brilliant. He’ll make up with his acting. So, am I ready to forgive him for that? I think I am,” explains Gautham Menon.
GVM also confirms that he will be wrapping up AYM towards the end of October. Rahman has already composed and delivered five songs for the film and one more track will be done after he watches the visuals.
