Shruti Haasan on board Sundar C’s Sangamithra
Shruti Haasan has been signed to play one of the female leads in director Sundar C’s mega-budget historical epic Sangamithra. Arya and Jayam Ravi will play the lead roles in the project, which will be bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films.
Composer AR Rahman, art director Sabu Cyril, sound designer Resul Pookutty and DOP Sudeep Chatterjee of Bajirao Mastani fame form the technical crew. The team is currently busy working on the pre-production and the film is expected to go on floors from April.
