Shruti Haasan to team up with Vijay Sethupathi for his next?

Shruti Haasan has been approached to play the lead heroine role in Vijay Sethupathi’s next untitled film to be directed by SP Jananathan of Peranmai and Iyarkai fame. If it is confirmed, the project would mark the first time association between Vijay and Shruti.

Vijay Sethupathi played one of the lead roles in Jananathan’s last movie Purambokku Engira Podhuvudamai. The project is currently in the pre-production phase and an official announcement is expected to be made soon.
