Ravi K. Chandran raves about Harris Jayaraj’s work for Yaan

The trailer of Ravi K. Chandran’s directorial debut Yaan starring Jiiva and Thulasi Nair in lead roles has received good response from film buffs and critics online. The film is tentatively looking for a release on October 2nd and there are three more films eyeing for the Gandhi Jayanti weekend – Oru Oorla Rendu Raja, Isai and Vanhmam. Ravi K. Chandran, who is currently supervising Harris Jayaraj’s background score for the film is apparently impressed by the composer’s work.

“Harris Jayaraj, you are a true genius .. What I heard last nyt at ur studio was mind blowing .. YAAN bgm is going to rock :-),” tweeted Ravi K. Chandran. Meanwhile, internet is abuzz with plagiarism accusations that the trailer background score is lifted from the Barbadian singer Rihanna’s “We Found Love” song.
