Jiiva is wary of trolls in social media

Jiiva, who is gearing up for the release of Yaan which marks the directorial debut of one of India’s renowned cinematographers, Ravi K. Chandran, says he is wary of trolls in social media. “I had decided to not do films where I would go to a wine shop, get drunk and crack some jokes. These days, fans celebrate a film if they like it. But if the film is trash, they troll you. When such feedback is available today, there is no point signing films in a hurry,” says Jiiva to a daily.

He also reveals that Yaan will be a ‘bourne’ kind of film which is centered on human rights violations with any controversial shades. He plays a fugitive who is on the run in the Middle East. Thulasi Nair of Kadal fame plays the female lead and Harris Jayaraj has composed music. Yaan is all set to hit screens tomorrow.
