Rajinikanth – Ranjith project to kickstart from May 28th

Superstar Rajinikanth’s next project with director Pa. Ranjith will kickstart from May 28th. The first leg of shooting is expected to happen in Chennai.

The latest update is Santhosh Narayanan, who composed music for Kabali, has been retained by Ranjith for this yet-untitled project. Since a substantial portion of the story is said to happen in Dharavi, Mumbai, the makers are constructing a huge set in Chennai resembling the slums of Dharavi. Vidya Balan is the frontrunner to play the lead heroine in the film, which is produced by Dhanush under the banner Wunderbar Films.
