God’s wish is my wish, says Rajinikanth on entering politics

Rajinikanth’s entry into politics has to be the most endlessly discussed and speculated topic in the past two decades in Tamil Nadu. Superstar, who recently arrived at the Mangalore International Airport for an important schedule of Lingaa, was received by Kannada reporters with a flurry of questions. When a reporter asked about his entry into politics, he said “I will, if God wishes so.” The reporter retorted back with a “What’s your wish?”, Rajinikanth, in his quintessential style, said “God’s wish is my wish.”

Directed by KS Ravikumar, the film has Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. The shooting is progressing at a swift pace in Shimoga now and the team is looking forward to wrap up this long and crucial 21-day schedule. Sources say 80% shoot is already over and KS Ravikumar is working on the first look of the film. Rajinikanth also confirmed to the reporters that Lingaa will release on his birthday, December 12, 2014.
