Rajinikanth honored with Padma Vibhushan award
Superstar Rajinikanth has been honored with the Padma Vibhushan award, the second highest civilian honor in India. Notable film director SS Rajamouli who earned accolades for his blockbuster Baahubali has been conferred with the Padma Shri award.
The official announcement from the central government came this afternoon and Twitterati shared their wishes to the superstar and Rajamouli. Rajinikanth is currently shooting for Pa. Ranjith’s Kabali. Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Priyanka Chopra have also been honored with the Padma Shri award.
