Prashanth’s surprise birthday gift to Thaman
Impressed with composer Thaman’s work in Saahasam, Prashanth and producer Thiagarajan have presented him a lavish Toyota Fortuner for his birthday two days back. The duo also hosted a grand birthday bash inviting Thaman’s close friends and colleagues in the industry. Thaman has five songs for Saahasam. Directed by Arun Raj Varma, Saahasam is the Tamil remake of Telugu film Julayi which had Allu Arjun in the lead role. Produced by Thiagarajan and directed by Arun Raj Varma, it features Tamannah Bhatia in the lead role. Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri of Rockstar fame has shot an item number with Prashanth for the film.
The film is slated for release in the first quarter of 2015. Prashanth will move on to Tamil remake of Hindi film Special 26 next where he shares screen space with Prakash Raj and Sathyraja. Our report on the remake here.
