Trisha refutes engagement rumors; Raai Laxmi takes a dig at it!

The internet was abuzz with reports yesterday that Trisha and Varun Manian of Radiance Media are engaged. The news spread like wildfire and everyone started digging the duo’s Twitter conversations. Varun Manian, a Chennai-based real estate entrepreneur broke into Kollywood scene by debuting as a producer in Vaayai Moodi Pesavum. He is also the co-producer of Kaaviya Thalaivan. While close sources in the industry claim the couple are indeed seeing each other for quite some time now, Trisha took to her official social media page and posted, “Ola people..FYI I am NOT engaged !!! If n when I do,u will hear it from me first.”

Though Trisha denied that she’s not engaged yet, she remained mum on the link-up with Varun Manian. Meanwhile, Raai Laxmi took a dig at the day’s biggest news in the industry. “One should hv the balls to accept the truth abt their personal life! Surprised! why someone would lie abt a situation which is true#fake,” tweeted Raai Laxmi.

Our sources say Trisha is indeed in a relationship with Varun Manian though they may not have been engaged yet. The couple is expected to break the news and come out in the open soon. “Both families have already spoken about their relationship. They will be engaged officially soon. The marriage is on the cards in early 2015. The ring that Trisha wears is presented by Varun,” says a bankable source close to Trisha.
