No Thala 55 without Trisha’s character: Gautham Menon

Gautham Menon, in a recent interview to a Tamil magazine, has remarked that Trisha’s character in the film is integral to the plot so much and went on to say that there is no Thala 55 without her character. The film spans across different timelines and traces the life of Ajith from 28 to 35 years. The pictures of Trisha released yesterday brought to mind Jyothika’s Maaya character in Kaakha Kaakha. 

A particular picture of Trisha and Ajith sitting in a coffee shop looked so adorable and once again proves that Gautham Menon is one of the few filmmakers to showcase his women characters dignified on screen. Ajith’s chemistry with Trisha is one of the highly anticipated factors of the film since they play a married couple in the film. The makers are planning to wrap up the shoot by October end.
