Trisha plays a unique role in Thala 55

Looks like Trisha’s role in Ajith – Gautham Menon’s Thala 55 has much more than what meets the eye. Earlier, there were speculations that Trisha comes as Ajith’s love-interest in the flashback. Recently, Devi Ajith confirmed in an interview that her first scene was shot when Ajith and Trisha get married in the film. “We have been shooting continuously because we follow one particular look and then move to another. It will be interesting to see what kind of audience reaction it will elicit. After so many years in films, I told myself, it’s now or never,” says Trisha to a daily.

When quizzed about joining hands with Gautham Menon after the highly successful Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaaya, Trisha says, “There’s a lot of expectation from this first-ever Gautham-Ajith combination. This is my second film with Gautham after the incredibly successful Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaayaa, while Ajith and I share screen space again after the mega hit Mankatha,” says Trisha. The team is currently busy shooting on the streets of Chennai.
