Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam based on industrial hazards?

An interesting reveal is coming up in the Kollywood circle, as birdies have now said that Mani Ratnam’s next – Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is an interesting story of four brothers locked up in events related to industrial pollution and hazards.

While Arvind Swamy is said to be essaying the role of a politician, Vijay Sethupathy will be seen as a cop, and STR will be playing the role of an engineer. STR has changed his look by quite a bit for this film, thinning down from his bulky public appearances prior to this.

AR Rahman is composing the music for this film, which is produced by Mani Ratnam and Lyca Productions together.
