Mafia becomes Arun Vijay’s career-best opener as a solo hero!
Stylish thriller Mafia has opened in theatres, and is getting a big response for its interesting presentation, technical wizardry and of course the big climax twist. The film’s opening day gross in Tamil Nadu stood at 2.5 crores, which is indeed the best day one opener for Arun Vijay in his career.
Mafia will now look to make maximum use of the weekend and the coming days, as there are no big releases lined up for a couple of weeks at least. Arun Vijay will now look to complete his cop thriller Sinam while Karthick Naren will move on to the pre-production work for his film with Dhanush which is planned to take off in April/May.
