Dhanush’s Vaathi turns into a profitable venture in many areas already!
Dhanush’s Vaathi has started off with a splendid opening weekend, grossing 51 crores worldwide in its first 3 days. The Telugu version SIR has done extraordinary business, grossing 17 crores in its first 3 days, while the Tamil version has done slightly higher with 17.5 crores. The film has also grossed 3.5 crores in Karnataka.
On Monday, SIR has held very well in the Telugu states with a large number of houseful shows in the evening and night slots. In Tamil Nadu too, the film has turned into a successful venture with only some more left to go before it breaks even.
SIR is already a break even in the Telugu version, while Vaathi is expected to do the same by the end of the week. The film’s message and its emotional moments are being celebrated by many, and it is another winner for the distribution house 7 Screen Studio after Varisu.
