Lyca in talks to secure theatrical rights for Theri

Lyca Productions, who launched in Tamil with the Vijay-starrer Kaththi, is in talks to acquire worldwide theatrical rights of Theri. Sources say the team is holding the final negotiations to acquire the Tamil Nadu distribution rights for the film first.

Yesterday, a tweet from Ayngaran confirmed the acquisition but within minutes, they deleted the tweet. Sources say three major buyers are fighting neck to neck to snap up rights for Theri and an official announcement can be expected soon.
