Director Siddique confirms Rajinikanth for Bhaskar The Rascal remake

Director Siddique has confirmed in a recent interview that Rajinikanth will be playing the lead role in the Tamil remake of his Malayalam superhit Bhaskar The Rascal. The original version starred Mammootty and Nayanthara in the lead roles.

However, this news has been doing rounds since a very long time. Rajinikanth will need at least six more months to wrap up Shankar’s magnum-opus 2.0 before which any official announcement is highly unlikely.
