Kathakali confirmed for Pongal release

Vishal’s Kathakali has been confirmed for Pongal. The team unveiled first look posters of the film reaffirming the Pongal release yesterday. The team is on the verge of completing the project, which will enter the post-production stage soon.

Directed by Pandiraj, who also co-produces the project with Vishal’s Vishal Film Factory, Kathakali has Catherine Tresa as the female lead. The music composed by Hiphop Tamizha is expected to be launched next month. Other films vying for Pongal include Aranmanai 2, Thaarai Thappattai, Miruthan and Oru Naal Koothu.
