Kamal Haasan’s Papanasam, the official remake of the superhit Malayalam film Drishyam, has been wrapped up in a quick period of 39 days. The team completed the final schedule in Thodapuzha where the original was also shot. Now, Papanasam, directed by Jeethu Joseph, enters the post-production and will release in the first quarter of 2015, says a source. After almost 30 years, three films of Kamal Haasan are slated for release in the same year (2015).

Trade sources reveal that Kamal Haasan’s next release will be Ramesh Aravind directed Uttama Villain, which is currently under post-production. Incidentally, all three films Vishwaroopam 2, Papanasam and Uttama Villain will have music by Ghibran.
