After few distributors targeted the release of Papanasam to compensate losses incurred for Uttama Villain, the team held a discussion with them and have arrived at a amicable solution now. Now, a source in the know tells us that Papanasam will release on July 3rd as planned.

Produced by Wide Angle Creations, the film features Kamal Haasan and Gautami in the lead roles. Reliance Entertainment is presenting the film in North India with English subtitles to cater the regional diaspora.
