Kaithi2: Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj confirms the sequel of the film

Karthi starrer Kaithi, despite releasing alongside a terrific competitor in Bigil, has got off to a good start at the box office and is swimming in unanimously positive reviews. In one of his tweets post the release, the film’s director Lokesh Kanagaraj has confirmed that he will be working on the sequel in the future.

When asked about the sequel, Lokesh himself said “Yes, I do have such an idea. But before working on the film, I would like the characters to grow a little more so that the situations would become more interesting”.

Lokesh will soon resume the shoot for Thalapathy64, which stars Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi together for the first time.
