Bigil overtakes Houseful 4 to become best pre-Diwali opener this year!
Thalapathy Vijay’s recent release in Bigil has taken in a fantastic opening of 55 crores worldwide on day 1, overtaking Akshay Kumar starrer Houseful 4. The film opened in TN to a value of about 25 crores, becoming the best opener for the year in the state.
Bigil is also performing very well in the neighbouring rest of India markets such as Kerala and the Telugu states. The Telugu version in Whistle got off to a good start with 4 crores grossed on day 1.
