Jyothika, Suhasini, Radhika, Jayam Ravi, Arjun come together for a cause
Actresses Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Radhika Sarath Kumar, Jyothika and actors including Arjun Sarja, Jayam Ravi are coming together for an initiative organized by Gayathri Rajam to raise funds for AIM for Seva by Swami Dayananda Saraswathi Organization. Celebrities will donate their used accessories like sunglasses, handbags etc and clothes and they will be available for sale for the general public. The proceeds of the two-day sale will go the organization.
The fund-raiser is aimed at educating the children in the rural areas. “When celebrities like us a wear a particular outfit for an event, it gets photographed and hence renders it unusable for another event. I think such concepts should come more often,” says Radhika and praises the idea.
