Sacred Games fame Elnaaz Norouzi onboard Jayam Ravi’s next

Iranian actress Elnaaz Norouzi, who rose to fame with her role Zoya in Netflix India’s first original series Sacred Games has been signed to play a key role in Jayam Ravi’s next directed by Ahmed of Endrendrum Punnagai and Manithan fame. The film is touted to be an official remake of Hindi blockbuster Baby directed by Neeraj Pandey.

Reportedly titled Jana Gana Mana, Jayam Ravi is reprising the role of Akshay Kumar and Taapsee will play her role from the original version. However, an official confirmation is awaited from the team. The shooting of the film is currently underway in Azerbaijan. Actor Ramachandra Raju, who played the villain role of Garuda in KGF, has been roped in as the antagonist.
