Jayam Ravi’s first collaboration with AR Rahman to happen in his next?

Speculations are abound that Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman is in final talks to compose the music for Jayam Ravi’s next film directed by Ahmed of Endrendrum Punnagai fame. If this materializes, the project, which is reportedly titled Jana Gana Mana, would mark the first collaboration between Jayam Ravi and AR Rahman.

Iranian actress Elnaaz Norouzi, who rose to fame with her role Zoya in Netflix India’s first original series Sacred Games has been signed to play a key role in the film. The film is touted to be an official remake of Hindi blockbuster Baby directed by Neeraj Pandey. The shooting of the film is currently underway in Azerbaijan. Actor Ramachandra Raju, who played the villain role of Garuda in KGF, has been roped in as the antagonist.
