Jayalalitha to lay foundation stone for Nadigar Sangam building
In the recently held meeting of newly-elected Nadigar Sangam office bearers with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha, the latter has agreed to lay the foundation stone for a new building for South Indian Film Artistes Association in Habibullah Road.
Nassar, president of SIFAA, has confirmed that Jayalalitha has requested them to inform her in advance about the inauguration date to plan accordingly and attend the event. Construction of new Nadigar Sangam building was the talking point of elections and it is said to be the topmost priority of office bearers now to turn it into a reality soon.
