Is Thalapathy 64 aiming for a release in summer 2020?

Right after he sees through the release for Thalapathy63, the film with Atlee that he is currently working on, Vijay has plans to kick-start his new film with director Lokesh Kanagaraj of Maanagaram fame. Touted to be a quickie, the film will be shot within a short period of time, which is about 55 days.

Reports came by on Saturday evening that Thalapathy64 would be ready in time for a summer 2020 release, but sources in the know have denied it as pure rumors. An official update on the project is awaited.
