Govind Vasantha to compose music for the Telugu remake of 96

Composer Govind Vasantha, who delivered the best album of 2018 with 96, has now been signed to work on the Telugu remake of the film as well. Starring Sharwanand and Samantha in the lead roles, the film which will go on floors very soon will be directed by Prem Kumar himself.

Sources say that the remake of 96 will focus on the college life of the lead pair as opposed to the school episodes in the original. A lot of changes have been made to the original to suit Telugu sensibilities and backdrops.
