Filmmaker Balaji Sakthivel lands a role in Asuran
Filmmaker Balaji Sakthivel, known for making hard-hitting movie such as Vazhakku En 18/9 and Kadhal, has landed a role in Dhanush’s Asuran directed by Vetrimaaran. Sources say Balaji Sakthivel will play the antagonist in the film.
An official announcement on Balaji Sakthivel coming on board is yet to be made. Malayalam actress Manju Warrier plays Dhanush’s wife in the movie, which is based on the novel Vekkai. GV Prakash has been signed to compose the music for the film, which is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu of V Creations.
