Chiyaan Vikram reveals why he asked Bala to direct Varma

Speaking at the teaser launch of Varma, Chiyaan Vikram revealed the two important reasons behind why he asked director Bala to helm the film, which is an official remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy.

“Long back, Bala and I discussed that he should only launch my son. And, Bala has the ability to make even a stone act under his direction. So, why not Dhruv?” said Vikram.

Dhruv said that he is hoping to get a new lease of life through the film, which is produced by E4E Entertainment. The makers are planning to release the film sometime later this year.
