Bangalore Days Remake: Arya to romance Nithya Menen

Ever since PVP Cinemas and Dil Raju acquired remake rights for the superhit Malayalam film Bangalore Days, there have been wide speculations on the lead roles. Earlier, it was said that Samantha and Siddharth are roped in for the remake and Arya has also been approached to play one of the leads.

Now, bankable sources reveal that Nithya Menen, who played a cameo in the original, will play one of the lead roles in this Tamil-Telugu bi-lingual and will star opposite Arya. Both Tamil and Telugu versions will be directed by Baskar of Bommarillu (original version of Santhosh Subramaniam) fame. The film is likely to go on the floors from the first quarter of 2015.
