Anushka Shetty’s biopic period drama Rudhramadevi has opened to mixed reviews from fans and critics alike. While some have cribbed about the film’s lackluster writing, many have expressed awe at the kind of effort gone into the making. The Tamil version of the film is set for release next week on October 16th. In an industry which is eclipsed by rivalry, SS Rajamouli is a whiff of fresh air for his honest thoughts about the films of his contemporaties. He has showered lavish praise on Rudhramadevi and his Baahubali star Anushka Shetty.
