Director Anand Shankar talks about Arima Nambi’s thrilling climax

Directed by Anand Shankar and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu, Arima Nambi is all set to hit screens next week. It features Vikram Prabhu and Priya Anand in lead roles. “What something happens to one’s girl friend, what does he do? This forms the crux of my film,” says Anand Shankar. He wanted someone sans any hero image and that’s how he picked Vikram Prabhu for the role.

The climax is brilliantly shot and Anand gushes about it. He says, “We hired a Boeing plane, a twin jet and a private airfield to shoot the climax. The entire sequence was set to thrill the audience. The film has not only got action elements in it, it has suspense too. We have worked hard to beat the usual cliches, and hope it works.” Arima Nambi is slated for worldwide release on July 4th.
