The director of Arima Nambi, Anand Shankar is a former associate of AR Murugadoss. He assisted Murugadoss in his previous film, Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal starrer Thuppakki. As a friendly gesture, he arranged a private screening for Vijay and Ilayathalapathy is all praise for the debutant director, we hear.
