Amitabh Bachchan in talks for Touring Talkies remake
SA Chandrasekhar’s Touring Talkies hits the screens today after a long wait. While the film has two stories in the first half and second half narrated as two completely different episodes, SAC plays the lead role in the first half where he goes in search of his abandoned love-interest. SAC will remake the film in Hindi and be produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu.
Dhanu has confirmed that they are approaching Amitabh Bachchan to reprise the role played by SAC. “This is a milestone film in SAC”s career. I’m producing the film in Hindi and SAC will be directing it. We are approaching Amitabh Bachchan, who is known for his versatility in handling such roles,” says Dhanu.
