Vijay’s moving speech at Isai audio launch

Ilayathalapathy Vijay delivered a moving speech at the audio launch of SJ Suryah’s Isai. SJ Suryah, who is known for hits such as Kushi and Valee, is making a comeback in Isai as an actor-director apart from debuting as a music composer. Vijay, who very well knows the importance of Kushi‘s success in his career, expressed his gratefulness for SJ Suryah at the audio launch.

“When I was undergoing a scratchy period in my career, Kushi was a do-die film for me to sustain. Had the film not worked, I would have been unsure about the directions of my career back then. But, SJ Suryah elevated my career to another level and delivered a commercially successful film in Kushi. I thank him now for that,” said Vijay. Vijay also revealed that Suryah narrated him the story of Isai when the duo were working together in Shankar’s Nanban. Apparently, Vijay was impressed by Isai’s premise and wished Suryah good luck for the film.
