2.o: Jeyamohan on Chitti and Akshay Kumar’s characters

Writer Jeyamohan, who has joined hands with Shankar for the first time in 2.o, has shared some interesting information about the project on his blog today. Jeyamohan will be incharge of the dialogues for the film with additional support from Madhan Karky.

My part of work in 2.o was completed months back. Slight enhancements were only left. It was nearly confirmed that Arnold Schwarzenegger will be playing the antagonist, but it involved some international financial intricacies. Now Akshay Kumar is playing the role. It is a multifaceted character created by keeping a big Tamil actor in mind. 

It is really exciting to see Rajinikanth doing two films simultaneously after complete recovery from his health issues. Chitty’s role has been strengthened with integral traits of the character including mischief, speed and fury. The screenplay structure in Shankar’s films have always followed an inimitable, lucid style though concise. In my opinion, Anniyan had the best ever screenplay in his filmography. But now I feel 2.0 will surpass Anniyan. With a strong antagonist, it will be more thrilling than Part 1. I’m a big fan of Science Fiction movies and James Bond movies. 2.0 has excited the kid in me and I feel gratified to be a part it.
