Miruthan on the brink of completion
Jayam Ravi’s Miruthan, billed as Tamil cinema’s maiden zombie thriller, is on the brink of completion with the last week of shooting currently underway. The team was originally planning to release the film for Pongal but due to the unprecedented rains in the city during the first week of December, they couldn’t wrap up the shooting on time.
The audio launch is confirmed to happen in January and D Imman is working on the songs. Produced by Michael Rayappan’s Global Infotainment, Miruthan stars Jayam Ravi and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles. The film’s theatrical rights have been secured by Ayngaran International and the satellite rights are reportedly with Sun TV.
