Kaaviya Thalaivan to release on November 14?

Vasantha Balan’s Kaaviya Thalaivan, which was originally set to release in August, has been postponed due to a rush of films at the box-office. Now, reliable sources say the film, in all its probability, will see the light of day in November. The makers are keen to release the film on November 14th provided no big-budget films clash on the same day. “Kaaviya Thalaivan will release in November only if other big films like Uttama Villain, Anegan and don’t release around the same time. Then only, my film will get the attention it deserves. Kaaviya Thalaivan is my two years of hard-work. Producers have also invested more money in the project,” posted Vasanta Balan on his official Facebook page.

Kaaviya Thalaivan is a film on drama and theatre artistes in the early 20th century. The story revolves around Siddharth and Prithviraj’s rivalry in the field. Siddharth plays the lead role of Thalaivankottai Kaliappa Bhagavathar while Prithviraj plays his competitor, Melachivilberi Gomathi Nayagam Pillai. AR Rahman’s music for the film has already topped all the charts upon release. Kaaviya Thalaivan also has Vedhika and Anaika in lead roles.
