At the fans meet of the film which took place yesterday, Karthi spoke about his upcoming action outing Kaithi which gears up for a worldwide release this Friday. Karthi said that it has been a long time since he has done a gritty and racy film such as this. “The audience better be ready, you’re going to witness another Paruthiveeran after ten years,” said the actor.

Kaithi is made without a heroine or any songs, and is the sophomore directorial of Lokesh Kanagaraj after the impressive Maanagaram. The film has a background score set in place by Sam CS.
