Women shouldn’t misuse #MeToo: Rajinikanth

Superstar Rajinikanth has said that he welcomes the #MeToo movement, but also insisted that women should not misuse it.

“Women’s safety is very important. But it’s also vital that people should not misuse the campaign,” Rajinikanth told reporters outside the airport.

Asked about the sexual harassment allegations leveled against Vairamuthu by Chinmayi, Rajinikanth said, “Vairamuthu has already responded. He has said that he has strong evidence to prove his innocence. So, let’s see.”
